Role Description
Position Overview
Our client is a fast-growing technology company and is cutting-edge in Hall Sensors Technology in Europe. The company specialises in high-precision magnetic sensing technologies, delivering next-generation Hall-effect sensor solutions to clients in the automotive, industrial, and energy markets. With a focus on innovation and global reach, they are now seeking a seasoned professional to lead their technical marketing efforts for the Hall sensor product line.
In this key technical role, you will support the chip design and development teams by planning and performing laboratory tests for newly developed Hall sensors. Your expertise in electrical measurement techniques and lab equipment will be essential to ensure accurate data collection and analysis. The role combines hands-on testing, technical troubleshooting, and close collaboration with engineers across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support chip design teams by defining test requirements early in the development phase
- Set up and maintain the lab environment, including PCB design, test equipment, and LabVIEW software
- Perform initial operation and full characterisation of Hall Sensor prototypes
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose corrective actions
- Assist in the development of probe and final tests alongside test engineers
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Document and report test results clearly and on time
- Collaborate closely with design, test, and QA teams to support the full chip development cycle
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Technician, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or a related field)
- Previous experience as a laboratory engineer or similar technical lab role
- Skilled in using electronic lab equipment and measurement software (LabVIEW preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Organised, communicative, and a collaborative team player
- Knowledge of semiconductor technology and fabrication processes is a strong plus

Competencies
Technical Testing & Measurement
Skilled in setting up, operating, and interpreting results from electronic lab equipment.
LabVIEW & Automation Tools
Experience with test software development (preferably LabVIEW) and test automation frameworks.
PCB Design & Hardware Setup
Ability to design test PCBs and configure measurement setups independently.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
Systematic approach to identifying and resolving technical issues during sensor validation.
Documentation & Reporting
Capable of writing clear, structured, and precise technical documentation and test reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Comfortable working with design engineers, test engineers, and quality teams in iterative environments.
Semiconductor Process Knowledge (Optional)
Understanding of sensor/semiconductor technology and fabrication processes is a strong advantage.
